Who We Are
A nonprofit built by our community, for our community — and now growing beyond the gathering table.
Jalalabad Association of North Texas (JANT) is a nonprofit community built on trust, mutual support, and a shared commitment to preserving our heritage. Our name honors Jalalabad — the Sylhet region of Bangladesh that generations of our families call home.
Entrepreneurs, doctors, engineers, IT professionals, and leaders from government and non-government organizations all call JANT home. Different careers, one purpose: a stronger community here in North Texas.
Every year, two to three family gatherings bring generations together across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Three new wings now carry that same spirit further — into business, mutual support, and civic life.
